So how do we know?

Every move a person makes online is the hand carrying out a decision the mind has already made. On a mouse, a trackpad or a thumb, the sequence is the same. So we don't read minds. We read hands, and the hand reveals the decision a moment before it's acted on.

The technology

So we taught machines to read the hand.

Exit Bee's algorithms watch the signals the hand gives off as a person browses, such as cursor velocity, acceleration, scroll rhythm, taps, the screen waking and sleeping. Machine-learning models weigh those signals and identify the exact moment attention becomes available.
